How can i understand what im reading?

im in Englis II Honors and we have to do alot of reading..

sometimes when im reading im like "what did i just read?"

im serious, at times i dont get what im reading...

what do i do to understand what im reading easier?

Try reading one page at a time then take a 2 minute break then read the next page but read them really carefully!
