How can i unistall an antivirus in safe mode?

I don’t know to much about computers, I have a dell and lately it’s been acting up since I believe it has two antivirus installed please help me uninstall NOD

1. Steps to go to Safe Mode:

If the system is already turned off, power it on.

If the system is already on, shutdown the system normally, wait 30 seconds, then power it back on.

Begin tapping the F8 key every few seconds as the system boots up until the screen offering the Safe Mode option appears.

Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the Enter key.

The system will now boot into Safe Mode.

On Windows XP, you may receive a prompt asking if you really want to boot into Safe Mode. Choose Yes.

Once Windows has booted into Safe Mode, open your antivirus program using the Start | Run and in the Run command type appwiz.cpl. Add Remove Programs window will appear.

Select the software you would like to uninstall, then click on Remove at the right end. Then follow the instructions that will appear on the screen.

on the left, right or top, click on uninstall programs, it shows a list of all the programs u have and want to uninstal. u might need to restart the computer btw...
