Good luck! I text-messaged one of the companies you see on television one time, and they NEVER stopped sending text messages to me!

Finally, I had to change my phone number because at that time Cingular was not well-equipped to deal with the problem (they may be able to stop them now). In any event, I think that this is something you would be better off talking to your service provider about. Perhaps see if they can reprovision text messaging on your account........ or worst-case, change your telephone number.
