How can i update a garmin gps system?

I recently bought a garmin but some adresses are not showing up. Most of these adresses are like in the middle of nowhere, mostly in Utah or Colorado. But they come up on yahoo maps.

Since you said you bought your unit recently, you could be eligible for a free map update.  Check on Garmin's Map Updates site where you enter your serial number.
