How can i upgrade my video card?

it is realtek and it seems very crapy

  1. Realtek is actually a sound device.

    To upgrade your video card, download this program called "CPU-Z" and run it. It will show you what type of interface your motherboard uses. Once that's done, go to your local computer store or something (newegg.com) and check what video card is best suited for you. The interface will be either PCI-Express or AGP.. rarely it'll be PCI which is not really a good interface for things like video card. Hope that helps.  


  2. Realtek means it is probably on-board video (it is built into your motherboard.) Find out if your motherboard is has AGP or PCI-e slots and then just buy the cheapest one to meet your needs. Once you place it inside the computer just run the drivers (and be sure to check the company's website that manufactured your new video card to get the most up to date drivers.)
