  1. You don't need to necessarily buy it, I think, as my friend simply copied Vista files from his Vista laptop onto his XP. Dunno how he did it, though


  2. The first answer was right, you have to buy an upgrade.  I would stick with XP.

  3. buy vista that is the only way, and i don't suggest it if you have an older PC since Vista is ment for newer hardware and that is how its gotten such a bad name
