How can i upload about 1GB of pictures online and send them to someone else?

I have about 1GB or moe of pictures that i need to send to my friend online. I don't think AOL can send that much and fileden.com asks me to upload each picture 1 by 1 which is impossible, there being hundreds! Any ideas?

if needed, to go direct, you may be better to ftp in sets zip compressed, requires but users to be online,
