How can i watch NHL games in the UK?

  1. In the UK, BSkyB no longer has NHL rights.

    They were acquired by NASN (North American Sports Network) shortly after the lockout.

    You'll have to check your cable system to see if they offer it (it may be a premium channel).  

    The reasoning was that NASN offered more upfront revenue than the BSkyB deal.  The idea of taking upfront dollars over market penetration...it seems as though we've heard this before somewhere...

    Your other option would be to purchase NHL Centre Ice Online (viewing games over the Internet).  

    Good luck!  My guess is there aren't too many GB sportsmen extolling their love of hockey (to wit former England rugby union captain Martin Johnson's much-noted love of the NFL).

  4. NHL center ice through NHL.com.  I think it has a monthly fee, but if you're a hockey fan it's worth it.  There are probably things like center ice you can hook up through your cable like we have in North America, but I'm not sure if they have that in the UK.
