  1. In any shop now days where they are selling suitcases and travel accessories you can buy the hold scales, i have seen then from £5 - £12 and they are just at little bigger than a mobile so you can put then in your luggage..

    Hope it helps

  2. Mimcat has the answer.

  3. Best way is to weigh yourself, then weigh you and the suicase, deduct one answer from the other and you will get the true weight of the case.

It should be fairly easy to guestimate the stuff you buy on holls,

  4. This is what I would do. I'd step on the scale and weigh myself. Then I'd pick up the suitcase and check the number of pounds added. (Now you know the current weight of the suitcase) As you travel and add goodies to the case, weigh it along the way - this will also help you not gain 10 extra pounds that could be a not-so-pleasant home-coming surprise!  B&Bs do have bathroom scales. Another option is to ask your doctor if he/she wouldn't mind allowing you to utilize their scale to weigh the case prior to the trip. Those scales will always allow the assistant/nurse to get an exact reading.  Happy Traveling!

  5. Do you have a Wii and a Wii fit, if so weigh it on that!

  6. I stand on the scales first to weigh myself, then I weigh myself holding the case & subtract the first number from the second number.

  7. Stand on some scales with the suitcase and then subtract your weight to see how much the suitcase weighs.  If it is about 10 kilos now you just need to work out how heavy the things you buy will be.  Generally you are allowed around 20 kgs of luggage, and unless you are buying lots of heavy things I can't imagine you will be over the limit.
