How can i wire headphones to a regular car stereo?

ive got a dodge conversion van with headphones for each passenger. i want to run all of these of a radio but the radio has seperate grounds for left and right channel and headphones have a combined ground. they way DODGE did it was to just run the left+ and right + to the headphones and use the cars frame as a ground for the headphones. It blew up the radio, so now with a new radio, how should i do this?

LIke I said before you DON"T

If there is no head phone jack on that stereo, that means that there is a reason that there is not one.

You would have to get impedance matching tranformers for each channel and capacitivley couple the two channels.
