I am trying to make my large game room have a very good ound system in it. and i just need a wiring guide that could tell me how to hook all of the speakers up to the battery. I am putting 4-10' PYLE 1000w subs, 2-1000W 2ch pyramid amps, 2- 6.5 in mid speakers, 2 tweeters and a pyramid head unit. I need to know (in detail how to wire them the the battery thanks.

  1. I've never heard of an indoor sound system without large speakers that are ground able and tall that work. I suggest selling all of these materials and getting a sound system that is meant for indoors or else you will just hear bass and nothing else. Large amplified indoor speakers have amplifiers built in, and tweeters speakers and subs already in them. This is the best way to go, and if you'd like, get a 10 disk changer with MP3 and IPOD adapter to hear all the music you'd like.

  2. go to home depot and get a bare plug-in-wall socket 2 slot for the power and ground wires and remote to amp and radio as usual that'll take care of power to the amp w/out the batt.,,,use the batt. for the head-unit and wire it to that and to the mids and tweeters constant power should go to the socket also 12v to batt. and ground to batt. and use ur "trickle charger",,, and that toggle switch is a good idea for the whole system also ,,,dont put the batt. on concrete, somehow that drains batt. aaannnddd good luck,,,

  3. This is a good question, and its a lot easier to show you how to "install" your system than it is to describe it. You will need to do all your wiring as you would in your car, with the exception of the ignition wire for the head unit. You should install a toggle switch there so that you can completely turn off the head unit when you want to. You should also install proper size fuses as close as you can to the battery. Distribution blocks will help make every thing look cleaner.

Any thing that has RCA jacks can be plugged in to the RCA jacks on the amp directly. Here's a tip: point the subs down (use small blocks on the front of the box to keep the speakers about 3" from the ground) or point the subs towards a wall, and the bass will "climb" the walls and really hit hard.

  4. You need a power supply , for the power you are running I would say a 50 amp will do , do some checking on the web and you will find some , most of us use the pyramid version on our test benches.

  5. i would deffinately not recommend that lol. not sure if you are farmiliar with cars but the reason a battery does not die is because it is hooked up to an altinator which charges the battery whenever the engine is running; therefore having that setup in your house will only result in the battery dying after a very short about of time. i would recommend looking into some dj equipment. that would deliver better sound quality that a car stereo anyway, plus it would look basass in a gameroom.
