I will try and explain as best I can! I need to find the difference of how much something has increased in percentage between 2 figures for example the the lowest is 3482 the highest 4809. I have worked out the difference is 1325 BUT how do I put it into a %. I hope that makes sense. If any one can explain how I would be very grateful as I have a few more figure to work out

  1. 4809 MINUS 3482 = 1327

    1327 DIVIDED by 3482 = 0.381

    0.381 MULTIPLY by 100 = 38.1 % increase

can i have the 20 points?

    PLZZ

  2. small number / big number x 100

    So,

    1327/3482 x 100 = 38.11%

  3. Not a tax question

  4. percentage difference is....the difference, divided by the original number, times 100%

    1325/3482 =38.05%

  5. You want to find out the percentage increase - so you have worked out the difference between the two, you put this over the starting number (3282) then multiply by 100. So 1325 divided by 3482 is 0.38, multiply this by 100 gives you an increase of 38%. Hope this helps!
