If you can't naturally do this, it might be best left. This aspect of life is for the chosen few and is as much a burden as a gift. There are good spirits and bad spirits and its easy to have contact with a bad spirit as they operate on lower vibrations then good spirits theoretically speaking

Meditation helps.

Though for most people it's a matter of retraining the brain to see them, not so much learning how to. The meditation helps, but you got to trust your instincts. Start paying attention to things that you want to subconsciously ignore, things that feel 'off', and anything that happens in the corner of your vision.

If you really want to amp your chances. Start going out around midnight during full moons. There's spirits everywhere, and ghosts are surprisingly common, if unpredictable.

So, I'd say a Ouija board, as dangerous as it is, will give the demons an open door to deceive you.
