  1. Yes you can as someone else said a 12v marine battery is your best bet I did this with my little brothers "power wheel" didnt need to swap the motor it was a 6v and i ran 12v battery it never had a problem

  2. sorry but i think you have asked you question in the wrong category

  3. Put it in the back of your pickup truck.  You'll find that you can legally go at least 55 MPH with it.

Wait a minute.  This is astronomy & space.  You'll have to put it in a rocket and send it into space.

Yes, that's right.  He'll really should wear a helmet!  Safety first!

  4. paint a go faster strip on it

  5. I must say I'm extremely disappointed. I saw this question on the homepage and was about to ignore it when I saw that it was in the Astronomy & Science category, which immediately boosted my interest levels sufficiently for me to come and have a look. Now I find a completely unrelated question, and am now typing an response simply to convey my displeasure. Did you type your question and think "Now then, what category shouls this be in... Toys? Electrical stuff? No - I'll put it under 'astronomy'!" Please don't do that again, it's almost as much of a waste of time as me writing all this - but hopefully, I won't have to do it again...

By the way, a bigger battery and motor would give the car more power, but you might find you have to upgrade the transmission/wheels/tyres/steering... might be better off just getting a better buggy

  6. Do Mechanical Engineering. You'll know after 4 years.

  7. You could upgrade the battery to a 12v deep cycle (marine type), but I'm not sure how long the motor would last under continuous use. Starter motors on cars are a 6v motor running on 12v so they provide a lot of power in the same fashion, but they are only used intermittently. Continuous use burns out starter motors. There might also be a 12v motor available somewhere, but by the time you buy all of this, you might be better off buying a small gas-powered quad. Good luck!

  8. change the motor..

put a V6 twin turbo engine..

or just add some nitrous... but make sure he is wearing a helmet... safety first
