How can l prevent my gums from receding any further?

I have receding gums on 5 lower teeth,is anything l can do to help the situation? Like mouthwash? My dentist suggests that l do a tissue graft,but l don't have insurance and it cost quit a bit. It doesn't hurt ,but l don't want to get worst.

I'm glad you asked this because I'm a little paranoid on the matter myself. If you're that worried perhaps you can ask your dentist about financing on it? That way, you don't have to pay up front.

i have the same problem. tissue graft is the only way I know of. and yes very expensive . like a $5000 or more.

what you need to do is using a manual tooth brush start from the bottom of the gum and brush upward with the gum by twisting the toothbrush up
