How can learn I dance to rap music? I got laughed at at the dance.?

I'm white and a girl, who lives in a large ghetto city and I can't freakin' dance to rap music, so at the school dance....i tried and well everyone else was "turnin up the heat" I was trying to mirror. it didn't work.

videos or links, i don't have access to MTV

You can't really dance to rap music unless you really work on the choreography. I don't really know any videos or anything for it, it'll be hard to find because it's not common to dance to rap music...hey, don't be discouraged by what others say or think, have faith in yourself and work at it. Use your own inspiration and keep going to dance classes. Practice and work equal growth and perfection.

well i learned 2 dance wit rap videos,so watch bet,or look on youtube at ppl dancin,im white n a grl n i can dance 2 rap,jus let it flow naturallyy

Can any of your friends dance to rap music?  Get them to show you.  Worse comes to worse, get on youtube and try to match what they do in a mirror.  Search for a song and watch the video.  I know there's a really good video of Soulja Boy showin' you how to dance to Crank dat.  Good luck.

well one thing is that white girls cant dance 2  rap !all the white ppl in my skool dnt no how 2 dance rap ..they try 2 do it but they cant dace ..so face it u cant dance >>!

i don't think anybody can dance to rap. it's just not meant for dancing and i've never seen anybody dance to rap successfully. i remember trying to dance to "Slo Jams" by Twista and me and my date just walked off the dance floor when Twista started rapping.
