  1. Murcury becomes solid at -449 degrees celcius, thats quite cold....ideal to put in your pint of magners:)


  2. Room temperature is above its solid temperature.

  3. Because it has a much lower melting point than other metals. It would solidify if it was cold enough.

  4. it's an exception with the lowest melting point
