She read Dave pelzer's story and can't stop talking about it. Where can she go to help? Like she loves children, so maybe is there like a child haven or somewhere else that she can go to help with kids? Just volunteering. She doesn't need any money. Thank you for your help in advance. : )

  1. Unfortunately she can't stop the abuse.  Let her read his follow up books and she can see that he has turned out to be alright.  That book was very intense.  Have her call your local social service office and see if there is a way to help.  The biggest problem that she might encounter is the fact that these are children and things are confidential, so they might not have anything that she can do personally.  Most areas though do collect toys and clothing for foster parents to use, so maybe she can do a project like that.

  2. ive read those books..so sad..the best thing a kid her age can do is raise awareness ..teach her to be kind to all..its those children who stick out like a sore thumb..who may not be the neatest dressed or be picked onb alot who are the ones being abused at home..if she is one of those kids who mistreats people than she will not help..teach her how to befriend people her age who seem to be struggling and teach her how to be trustworthy..so others feel they can talk to her..she might be able to stop abuse in a childs life just by being there..raising aeness and puttingvoice out there..
