  1. What's the problem? Is bub falling asleep on the boob? Give a bit of a jiggle, tug his/her ears and if that doesn't work, let them sleep :)

    If that's not the problem, don't worry. Breastfed babies will feed when they want to, they won't starve themselves.


  2. Just keep feeding him more breast milk.  If you are going back to work you can pump milk.  It is good for 7 days in the fridge, 8 hrs in room tempurature and 6 mths in the deep freeze.  Try to freeze it in glass bottles or jars though!

  3. Try "switch feeding".

    As soon as he/she has finished on one side move them to the other side. Don't turn them around or adjust them, one swift movement, off one, on the other. It may take some practice but often works.

  4. Keep putting your breast in his mouth ..

  5. From birth my son only fed for 5/10 minutes.  I tried all sorts but in the end realised that he was happy and that was all he needed!
