How can my girlfriend from mexico get a green card for USA?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a while now, I have gone to see her in Mexico a couple times and now I want her to come live with me. We want to do this in some normal manor without using the marriage method which I hear doesn't always work now with the new immigration rules. We don't want this to be the reason we get married. So far from what I see, one way to get a green card is a lottery... which is dumb.

She speaks english very well, and is also the manager of a book shop in Mexico so she's very smart. What will it take for us to finally be together?

If your relationship is genuine the "marriage method" works 100% of the time.

Mexicans are not eligible for the Diversity Visa Lottery.  The DV lottery is only for people from countries with 50,000 immigrants or less per year to the USA.

Unless she has members if her immediate family in the USA, willing to petition her, the "marriage method" is your only choice.

Applying for a fiance visa for her to come here & marry you OR marrying in Mexico and then sponsoring her (I-130 application) would be the only ways really.

Sorry, but immigration laws are so screwed up nowadays those are your best bets unless she already has family here that is willing to petition for her to come.

Your best bet is to talk to immigration and see what sort of visa she might be eligible for. If the relationship is genuine, you will likely marry eventually so perhaps a fiance visa might be the way to go just to see how it works out. I definitely advise against rushing into a marriage though.

An attorney friend got his fiancee here from Mexico on a visa, he told me it took almost one year. You may be able to sponsor her, good luck and don't give up.

Two ways. And if you two are seriously into it, either way will be fine. You can go live in Mexico, or you can marry her legally. This will bring her to the US. I know a lot of illegal immigrants come in this way, but if you're truly in love both of you will have clear consciences.

if she has applied for a green card. and hired a immigration lawyer.. the only other step I can advice both of you is move to another country that the visa or green card entrance is easier to obtain.. but the way that the economy is getting I think that even that would be harder for both of you... soo sorry and good luck
