How can my grandma appreciate what my dad, which is her son, does for her?

what my grandma does

1. she always yells at him

2. points out his flaws

3. uses him

what my dad does:

1. drives my grandma where ever she wants

2. cooks for her

3. buy her things

4. does whatever his siblings don't want to do( take my grandpa to the hospital)

i don't like it when my grandma degrades my dad. it makes me feel bad, and i'm sure it makes my dad feel bad.

and the person that my grandma praises is my dumbass uncle who cheated on his wife.

I don't understand people sometimes. Maybe you should express your feelings to your Grandma. Unfortunately, sometimes people are set in their ways & can't change the way they are, especially older people but maybe if she realizes that it hurts you she'll make an effort.

Tell ur grandmother straight up. She'll understand if it is coming from you. Tell her all the things ur dad does. Some people won't understand until you confront them. Trust me. And for ur dad sake you should ask her straight up.
