My hubby doesn't have his high school diploma. He needed one semester. Anyway, how can he get one? How about the ones online? He works full-time from 7 am to whatever time the job is done, usually at 6 pm he gets home, as well as Saturdays. He really wants to get it, yet he doesn't want to take time off from work, since he wants to take advantage that theres actually work! And well we're planning to buy a home in a couple of months. Has anyone ever gotten one from online? Or is there like a place where you go once a week to pick up an drop off homework? Or will he have to go to adult school at night?

  1. My friend desperately needed her diploma and she looked into doing it online. It's super expensive and very time consuming. What i'd recomend doing is going to the library and find the GED test prep book., Review it until he is comfortable and then call the department of education in your city. It's like 30 bucks for the test and sometimes they do it for free.

Good luck and great job for his determination!

  2. Some school districts offer adult education classes at night. You could check at your local school. They might also have some info for you about where your husband can take the GED & study for it. I don't know about online schools, but that should be easy enough to find out online. Good luck!

  3. I can recommend University of Missouri Columbia High School.  http://www.cdis.missouri.edu/ They have a distance learning program, and it will cause him to have a regular high school degree.

  4. GED.

    it'll work around his schedule.
