Question:

How can my human rights be protected by the UK government since i have UK passport?

I have a British passport. along side to my original nationality. I'm fully aware that the UK government representatives can't protect me against any obligations i have toward my original government. but my questions is that will i have the right to be protected by the UK goverment in case my human rights violated by my original government? & what's the procedure for that?

  1. if you have dual citizenship? when you are in the UK? you are considered British, in your country? you are still a citizen,and considered as a citizen of that country,therefore no protection rights in this case,from the UK, that is one drawback when having 2 citizenship,

    ps:

    no, in your country you are considered a citizen and all the laws of your country apply to you, if you still carry your original citizenship,

    in that case? why return to your country?if your human rights are not been observed?

    one must make a choice, either you stay in the UK and not go back to your country,

    but as long as you still detain your citizenship, you cannot take refuge within another country's embassy,


  2. u'll probably have to renounce ur other citizenship if you think there might be a problem. The Uk government will do whatever they can to protect their citizens of which u are but if you were to be arrested for a crime in the other country were u still hold citizenship, there really isn't a  whole lot the UK government can do.

  3. What original government? under what circumstances?please explain .
