How can my mom get custody of my best friend?

my best friend who is 15 got kicked out of her house or so i thought...she came to live with me...and then her parents called the cops on her...she is now staying with her aunt but doesn't want to so she is going to turn herself into the police. and go to a foster home. is there anyway my mom can get custody of her before she turns 16?

I would tell your mother to go down to the courthouse and discuss the issue with a clerk there. It's hard to answer your questions because custody rules vary by state. But if your mother is interested in getting custody and can provide a suitable home, then it is probable that the court will give her custody, if your friend's parents relinquish custody.
