How can my stay-at-home wife make extra money on the side?

I don't want her to work, but i would like her to have some kind of fun hobby or something easy that she can make a little extra money with. Maybe something with ebay. She enjoys stitching and things like that, but it doesent look like stitching can bring in much money, and i just couldnt make her sell something that she spent so much time working on. What can i suggest to her?

Filling out surveys; writing on 'opinion' sites; referal programs etc.

There are plenty of ways to make some money...she can probably make $100 easily with a couple of hours a day on the computer....there are some ideas on my site.....will I gain from you signing up? in some cases yes...but there are a couple of sites I mention that I do not gain from (epinions.com) being one....there is absolutely no obligation for you to sign up for anything from my site!

I do not gain money from you clicking the site, so you can at least read my ideas and experiences!!!

I make the most money on epinions.com (up to $200 a month although this requires a lot of writing - my best was $40 in one month) - I also make a lot as an affiliate of ebay - with the right traffic share website I make about $30 a month on average)...

There are a lot of different things she can do to make extra money on the side.  What are the things she enjoys doing?  Does she enjoy talking on the phone?  Can she use the Internet?  You might have her take a look at home based businesses.  Have her be able to have something that she built on her own, will give her self satisfaction and be happy that she did something. That's what I would suggest to her. There are plenty of opportunities out there.  Have her take a look at this article for a few ideas as well as some information on home based businesses.  It will give her an incredible income opportunity a lot more then just stitching.

I guess this is gonna be super women's lib her, but what does she want? Does she WANT to work? Did you ASK? Do you need to take care of her like a child? I hope I'm just taking it wrong, but I kinda got that vibe from your wording.

In the interest that maybe you are wanting to give ideas and not dictate how she lives, which hope to be the case here, then you may want to consider what other talents she has. Stitching is a good hobby and if she wants to sell them on ebay, that could be a little bit of money.

Does she handle the bills around the house? Is she good at it? Maybe she can help others budget their money from a home office.

What else can she do? Get creative! Especially if you guys don't have kids, she should find something that keeps her busy - in or out of the home. If it happens to be lucrative, all the better. No one should sit at home cleaning and watching daytime television all day. It's just not good for you.

Most of them are scam.. they ask for upfront payment and guarantee that you'll cover it in days.. but then they disappear.. so as a thumb rul if any site asks for upfront payment or joining fees its a scam.
