How can my tv work better?

I just purchased a plasma TV. i connected the cable to it. i have basic cable by comcast. and its using the coax cable.

i hooked it up from the wall to the tv. no boxes or nothing.

the reception is really bad. it looks worst than my old tv. can someone tell me what to do??

  1. I don't know what in the h**l your first poster was talking about, but you can ignore it. To get the best picture, you need to contact your cable company and get: 1. a digital signal; and 2. HDTV service, along with the necessary converter box. For the tremendous upgrade in the picture, the extra cost is worth it.


  2. Use only good Coax cable, because the distant  now is loungers. i believe you old  CRT TV not on the wall , and very near to the signal point . Look for better cable,just cost more. //also check you connector now, may case bad reception if just loss.( cable is not 100 % in contact or one wire is total not in contact )  ... good luck !!
