  1. Nadal sucks on grass. It's not going to happen.

  2. Nadal came so close to beating Federer in last year's Wimbledon final, actually leading for a brief time early in the 5th set (the first time since 2002 that Federer had trailed anybody in a match at Wimbledon), and he's playing much better this year, or at least today he was. If Nadal plays as good at Wimbledon as he did today, and Federer continues to be not as sharp as he normally is, then I don't see how Federer could hold him off this year if they both play again in the final.

  3. Rafa came oh so close to beating Federer in last year's Wimbledon final, actually leading for a brief time early in the 5th set (the first time since 2002 that Federer had trailed anybody in a match at Wimbledon), and he's playing much better this year, or at least today he was.  If Nadal plays as good at Wimbledon as he did today, and Federer continues to be not as sharp as he normally is, then I don't see how Federer could hold him off this year if they both play again in the final.

  4. play his natural game

  5. Play the match of his life and hope Fed's not up to the task mentally. But first he has to make the final. Quite honestly, I think way too many Rafa fans put too much stock into his two previous Wimby finals. Yes it's a remarkable achievement given his style of play and I commend on him on that. But he literally had to fight tooth and nail in several 5 setters just to make those finals whereas Fed just puts it on cruise control. It's admirable to see a player fight so hard, but how many miracles can you pull off before karma catches up, I swear Nadal sneaks out so many matches it's like he gets away with murder! LOL! I just get angry when so many Rafa fans prematurely run their mouths saying how Rafa's gonna take Fed's Wimbledon title away. One match at a time for both of them. Well, we will see soon enough.

  6. its going to be tough because grass compliments the way roger plays with versatility, and the ball is much faster. Rafael would have to hit the ball quicker than he's used to on clay and roger will trick him with his volleys and net

  7. Hey! li601 !! why did you literally lift Michael N 's answer? it's almost verbatim.

First of all both Nadal and Fed have to get to the final at WBLDN and there are a few other players that may have something to say about that.

Nadal played the final of his life last year but he also had to play like mad to get there including the awful 5 day long match against Soderling thanks to Wim. weather while Roger was resting in his hotel room!!

For physical and mental endurance and concentration no one can beat Rafa so Fed will have to use every grass trick in the book. He will have to take the initiative and make Rafa play Fed's game before Rafa gets a chance to hypnotyze Fed into playing Rafa's game. Easier said than done.
