  1. It's perfectly legal to carry money thru an airport.  It isn't real smart, but it certainly is legal.

If the "sum" is as large as I think,your best bet is send it     Fed-X in a box just like you would an old family  photo album .All new money can be detected on your person.Believe it or not they can even even detect it in the trunk of your car  driving on an   L .A. freeway. From a freaking plane flying above you!!!!
