  2. You have to have no issue with being yourself.

I mean REALLY be who you are with almost reckless abandon.

"Dance like no one is watching" and all that.

  3. do you mean like in the weberian sense? if so there's three types and you're sort of born with it. i don't remember what the three types are but you can google them....

  4. I don't believe there are schools for charisma, so it must be inborn and then cultivated as one grows up.  Bill Clinton grew up sub-middle-class, but sensed at an early age that he drew people to him with his personality, and he became the youngest governor of a state in history.  I also doubt that it can be faked and I think one must be intelligent enough to avoid dumb gaffes.  If charisma is self-taught, one might start by studying the people that you think have it and emulating them.

  5. Very easy......Have a high self esteem. (Not self ego)

Accept yourself for who you are without the need to act like someone who is charismatic.

    Confident people = Charismatic people.

  6. Charisma is generally considered to be inborn, but I'm sure that charm school could help you develop it.

There is a recent movie that partly deals with charismatic leadership - "The Last King of Scotland" (2006).  In the movie, a young graduate is taken in by Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Amin was a charismatic individual - the press even liked him even when they knew he had killed many people. Amin was able to stay in power for along period of time through a combination of charisma and fear.

Straight from Wiki (this is actually reliable information in this case): "Charismatic authority is one of three forms of authority laid out in [Max] Weber's tripartite classification of authority, the other two being traditional authority and rational-legal authority. The concept has acquired wide usage among sociologists."
