  1. It's not exactly customization, just upgrade or replace your shocks. The job of shock absorbers is, of course, to dampen the shock of sudden change in terrain. The shocks on your Jeep may be stock, in that case they need to be replaced. There are a wide range of shocks for different price ranges, basic ones including Rancho and Monroe (about $50 a piece). Upwards from there, better shocks cost more money (up to $250 a piece). I'd recommend getting basic shocks and seeing if those fit your needs.
