I am conducting a series of contest polls and want to make sure the voting is honest, but don't want to reveal everyone's email address to the world for fear of attracting spam bots.

  1. **Additional: you cant make the polls public- unless we join we cant see them- only the members of your group should ever have access to them-

the deal is you either hide them and no one sees who polled, or allow them and all members see them-

may consider an outside polling site- do a search, many out there with many more options than Yahoo provides.

    good luck**

you have a choice of allowing

Do not display voter identity <--- no one see's who polled including owners

Display voter identity with each vote <--- ALL members will see who voted including owners

if you click that, it wont display who polled, nor will you see who did, owner or moderator. no one will see.

  2. You can either make a poll anonymous or display voter identity.  There is no option to display only to moderators.  When you display the voter identity, it does truncate the email address, displaying only the part before the @ sign.  Also, your group polls are only available for the members to see.
