How can one search for stocks by sector?

Question

I'm trading only paper as of now, but is there a way (perhaps via a brokerage-- which I presently do not have) to find a comprehensive list of stocks by their respective sector?

Charles Schwab website has a nice section for research and you can look at different sectors and competitors within the sectors.  Other discount brokers may have it too.
