How can other countries help Sri Lanka to be more developed e.g. in health matters, poverty, hunger etc....?

  1. Teach them to embrace Capitalism.  Capitalism builds the wealth countries need to provide for the less fortunate.


  2. years ago (err well decades actually) i used to get the original fair trade tea, it was lovely Ceylon broken orange pekoe sent over in crates by a company called traidfair. so they have a history of involvement, i don't know what the current companies and products are, try searching for; fair trade sri lanka.

    like other former colonies they have been burdened with a top heavy corrupt bureaucracy and a dependence on plantation exports, so anything that gets money straight to the grass roots producers will have a good effect.
