How can people believe that California, Arizona, New mexico and other territories were stolen from mexico?

Where these lands stolen from indigenous people?

I recently learned that "La Raza" a mexican group claims that they are the native people of america! They parade in the streets and tell white americans they are racist and should go back to europe. They are nothing like the native people though. They speak a European language and follow europeans customs and traditions!

This land wasn't stolen we bought it for 21,000,000 back in the 1850s! If mexico wants it back it can buy it back at the new inflated historical cost + improvements! That is accounting for you!

I wonder what Mexico's version of it is?

There is a side to every story. And without listening to every side  how can we say what is right? I know we paid for those areas. But i also know how our government treated Native American Indians and what we are taught in public schools  sugar coats things too much.  No we did not steal the land, that was done long before when the Spanish started exploring  this continent after being "discovered" by Columbus, Mexicans are a mix of Natives and Spanish blood lines There is no difference between the natives in Mexico and our native Americans, they where here first and traveled freely, they did not have  borders like we do.  They never felt anyone could own the land in the first place.. But our government acted out of its own interests. But you and I did not live then, and neither did the people who are fusing about it now. We are not the only country in the world who has acquired land from bordering countries. Our history is meant for us to learn from and so we don't repeat. But I do not have to make up for what people did hundreds of years ago to people who live today. I just have to stop it from happening again.

But there is nothing wrong with having Spanish and English in this country, Most countries have more that 2 national languages!
