  1. haha your it doesn't matter the nose size. the people who run for an hour straight work up to it. i garuntee if you put your mind to it and ran a lot more...like run for 10 minutes then 15 then 20 and so on you would be able to run for an hour

  2. its all about pacing yourself

  3. If I did it anyone can. After 40 years of not doing any exercise I started in February and finally last Sunday I ran for over one hour.

  4. You have to work up to it.  You don't start out running an hour the first time.  Start out running 5 -10 minutes.  If you have a running track near you run the straight part and walk the curves.  most tracks ar 1/4 mile  so do it 4 times.   Don't run every day.  You body need time to recover.  Run every other day.  Slowly build up and start running the curve as well at the straightt away.  When running you will have to breath through your mouth to get enough air.  When you get to where you can run without taking the walking breaks walk for a few minutes after your run as a cool down.  It will prevent your legs from cramping up. Hope this helps

  5. do not eat anything within 4-6 hours before a run (if you do keep it light like a banana or maybe some toast), keep your head up you avoid cramps that way, run at a pace that is good for you, strech before and after you run, saty hydrated

  6. Mainly because these long distance runners have been training for years and years to run an hour or two.  These runners started out just like everyone else. The Olympic Marathon runners log in at least 90-100 miles a week of training so they can run for 2 hrs at a time. Just be patient and stick with it. In a few years who knows? You might be running in a marathon as well.

  7. You have to slowly work up to it. To you an hour may seem so long, but to runners who run marathons, an hour is nothing.

There is no techique that you are not aware of, and it's not your nose.

The reason you get tired quickly is because you are a beginner, and you are not use to running long yet.

I'm not sure of your fitness level, but if your a starter your runs should not go over 20 minutes. Run 3-4 times a day for 20 minutes for about a week or 2. Then move if up to 4-5 times a week. Then move up to 35 minutes still running 4-5 times a week. Soon enough you will be able to run for an hour.

    Good luck!

  8. Haha, cute question. To be honest anyone can run an hour but its something that you have to build up to. Of course since your a beginner your going to get tired fast and your nose being small shouldn't stop your breaths haha. Dont worry about the time right now that's something that you can worry about in the future. Start off running a mile, even if you cant run the whole thing finish that mile. Run that mile once a day until you can run it confidently. Once you have accomplished this move up to two mile runs and so and and so forth. Make sure you give your body an hour after eating food so it can digest before you go on a run. Your body calls for alot when your running and digesting food at the same time can cause cramps, diaria and many other things. Give yourself four hours if you have daily products in your system and try to cut out soda and caffeine completely! Work on your abs to tighten up your core by doing sit ups crunchs and butterfly's. Theres so many little tips I can give you if your interested. Respond back if I helped at all.

  9. First of all, if you are running that long you should be breathing through your mouth to get enough air. Warming up before you run will help, and you have to keep a steady pace, slowing down and speeding up will tire you out.
