I know so many selfish idiots like this...doesn't anyone have any class or manners these days? Or is always "All about me?"

  1. Too often, yes, it is 'all about me', because we, as adults, have allowed the gov't to turn us into a nation of people who are eager for the handout, and could care less who they hurt on the way to getting theirs.

  2. Some people are taught the world owes them everything. They are living under false pretenses that they are God's gift to the universe. They feel the world owes them everything. I blame it on partially on their upbringing. I work with person like that. He was a victim of a hurricane. The man was given clothing, food, transportation, shelter, furniture, appliances, and he also gets help from the government. The guy was given a cushy job making more money than others who have worked for the company longer, with more experience, and hard working. The jerk would make more money then I would make, yet on monday he was broke. The best thing to do is try to at all cost avoid these people.

  3. I am agreeing with Sunburst on this one. I have noticed the same thing.  Especially in the young adults and teens. A good percentage of them act as though we owe them a debt. That they can do anything they want and not be accountable for their actions.  I think this is a product of fallen moral standards of the parents of these people.  While the vast majority of us strive to teach our children respect and a code of honor, there are some who are too wrapped up in their own affairs, to take interest, in the discipline of  their offspring.  It all starts at home.

  4. My fiance's aunt and uncle took care of his dying grandma. The grandmother gave them $20,000 before she died, to use if she needed to be put in hospice or toward the funeral bills. Also, any left over money could go to her dying brother's final bills. Grandma died without having to be put in hospice and grandma's brother died after 1 month of hospice.

    The leftover money should've gone to the remaining siblings, however they received none of it. The aunt and uncle pocketed the money. Last weekend at the family reunion, the aunt showed up in a brand new Chevy HHR, the uncle showed up in a brand new Dodge Durango truck and they invited everyone up to their recently-purchased vacation get-a-way. They bought the house, which is set on about 10 acres with a 3 acre pond. The uncle was complaining that he had so much grass to cut that he had to buy a professional-grade lawn mower.

    They tried to hide that they stole the money...but it's hard to believe their lies, especially when they were having a hard time making ends-meet before the grandmother passed away.

    Personally, I hope that everyone who is as selfish as my future hillbilly relatives, dies a slow and miserable death. They sure deserve it!

  5. The people I've met who live off others seem to have this sense of entitlement -- that other people somehow "owe" them. I guess, whatever helps them sleep at night.

  6. That they sleep is a major indication of the truth as they see it.They have done nothing wrong in their eyes, their conscience is clear.

    This is the difference between some people;

    1. It's wrong to steal, or

    2. It's OK to steal, if I don't get caught, or

    3. I don't care who is looking, I'm taking that!

    You are obviously a type 1. person, stop hanging around with the 2's and 3's, they will only bring you down.
