  1. Photo synthesis is used by many plants to make fuel which we use and call as bio-fuels bio-diesel and ethanol are examples.

Wood gas as well as methane from fermenting leaves can also be used as fuel.

We dont have the equipment to use photosynthesis directly to generate energy though we do it thru plants now, they work pretty well.

  2. I don't know, but it would be freakin awesome. Almost as awesome as people photosynthesizing!! Who knows... maybe in the future we will master bio-mechanical engineering... metal with a chloroplast skin? And maybe we could cross pollinate car to get hybrids! Real Hybrids!!!

  3. Photosynthesis is already used to provide energy for cars.  Plants photosynthesized molecules, died, and decayed into petroleum.  Man drills into the earth, extracts the petroleum, refines it, and pumps it into the fuel tanks of cars.  The cars burn the fuel to provide motive energy.

  4. it cant

  5. It is the basis of ethanol production as well as other bio-fuels.  For example, a corn plant produces sugars and starches via photosynthesis which are then converted into alcohol which can fuel cars.
