things that go against the Bible's teachings (like g*y 'marriage' and abortion-which is just protected murder) and, why do those who support him so much ALSO seem to hate the Christians but turn around and fight off those who call Obama a muslim by saying that he is a christian?? Pick a lane and get in it for crying out loud!!

  1. I don't recall the bible talking about abortion, although I believe that it mentions life starting when you feel the first movement of the baby.

  2. How can people call themselves Christian when they so readily judge others?

  3. Contrary to popular believe the terms Christian, and Democrat are not mutually exclusive.

  4. Show me in the Bible where the Christian God JESUS said ANYTHING about homosexuality, abortion, or Islam.

  5. the bible also says children who disobey their parents and adulterers should be stoned to death.

    the bible then preaches tolerance.

the bible is the epitome of hypocrisy and contradiction.

is suggest you take a bible class and learn about what you are preaching.

besides religion has no place in politics.

  6. Obama is a Christian because he has expressed Christian beliefs.

The Bible like all religious texts is very open to interpretation. There are many different denominations and you can be Christian without even identifying with any specific church as long as you believe in basic Christianity. You can even be g*y and Christian. It depends on what you believe. This is the beauty of the freedom of religion.

I am an atheist but I also identify with Christianity because I was raised Catholic and I still believe in many Christian philosophies even though I have rejected the spiritual aspects of it.

  7. We are all sinners first off...second off lets keep religion out of our politics please....we are a secular nation we shouldn't be bogged down by useless Religious banter and retoric....lets tackle some real issues America

  8. Homosexuality is forbidden in both the Old and New Testaments; Jesus affirmed the OT as God's Word.  McCain doesn't support homo marriage, he supports each state decide that issue for themselves.

Abortion is murder and forbidden by the OT and NT; Jesus taught "forbid not the little children come to Me." and "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.."  Again, McCain says life begins at conception but thinks the individual state should decide.

I pray that you will spend more time in God's Word, examining your own heart and motives and less time attacking everyone else.

  9. First off I am a Christian and I support Obama. I live in Chicago he is not a Muslim. Those who say he is are just haters and are trying to discredit him. Dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being a Muslim. But when they say he is lying it implies he is a radical Muslim. There are far more pressing issues in the election than g*y marriage and abortion. Are country is falling apart. I work in the business world and our good jobs are going overseas quickly. Housing and banking markets are in trouble. Our image in the world is questionable which is evident by Russia current display in Georgia. They no we can't get the support from other countries anymore. We have disrespected many of them in the last 8 years. I am backing Obama for those reasons. The debate about g*y marriage and abortion have been going on for years and will go on forever. I am focusing on the issues that this country needs to to remain a power and a leader in the world today.

  10. Part of Christianity is free will.  God doesn't make you sin, but neither does Satan.  The choice is always yours, and the path is not always free of obstacles.

I take Senator Obama at his word when he says he is a Christian,  and I believe that these views, which, as a matter of my faith, I believe are wrong,  are just an obstacle he still has to work through on his path.

By the way, I AM a supporter of Senator McCain.

  11. my opinion is that politics shouldn't be mixed with religion. i don't want the government telling me what i can/can't do with my body.  i'm pro-choice, but i also think that schools should teach kids to use protection if they are going to have s*x. not just tell them to wait till they get married.
