  2. I had one that could talk, it takes lots of time and patients, just keep repeating what you want him to say over and over and over again. To me they sound a little like Donald Duck when they talk but it is understandable. They can be very lovable birds, and better as the only  bird to talk better.

  3. quakers are wonderful. you just have to repeat to them a lot. they are not quiet unless you talk to them quiet. mines name is paco and that he says that alot and when i get him out i tell him step up he says that and then he says alot more it just takes alot of repeating.

They are very social creatures and flock birds when they are hand raised they accept people as their adopted flock members they try to speak our language by mimicking our speech and will learn to mimic a word or phrase that you repeat to them regularly in a clear well pronounced manner.It is so much fun to hear your bird say something for the very first time that you have been training and working with it to learn!!!
