  1. superficialy yes and internally no

  2. It is not as important on how, we present ourselves to others, as much as it is to God.  It is just a facade, on the outside.  God sees us for who we truly are.  He is the One who makes the final judgment.

It is always good to present ourselves with self-respect.

However, I have met some truly inspirational people who cannot afford such attire, as to be accepted in most circles of society.

I never judge a book by it's cover!

  3. We can surely see one similarity,

    ....the "bandanna of courage",

...securely tied across the head of all the nobilities.

  4. Honour is to be within us. To be felt in our heart and soul and mind. For us, in the first place....

If it becomes clothing and just a presentation of us to others, it is not honour.  It is show off and fake.

I button up each time I see people demonstrating how honourable and fair and good they are...

  5. lol, I agree with Alice up to an extent... honor is within us everything else is showing off. Yet, that showing off is sometimes even more powerful than anything else... let's take the situation of a philosopher or a writer, Truman Capote, for instance. Once they write something the public or the academics love, they can live the rest of their lives hiding in the shadows of that first (and unique) success. Once they were categorized as "unique" / "interesting"/ "intelligent", they can do or say countless silly things, nobody would contest... their honor...

  6. Like rain honor soaks in and penetrates our soul and keeps our outlooks lustrous, shiny, and wet so that many ordeals slip on by and leave us unscathed, untainted, pure of desire and wise to the fact that there are better ways to do things.
