I know some people don't even have the basics.  You can recycle: plastic, aluminum, metal, paper, glass.  Some recycling centers will even accept green glass and junk mailers.  I use my canvas bags every time I go to any store.. I don't need any more plastic bags!  Go to www.noplasticbaglady.com if want some fun canvas bags! I recommend going online and looking for your local recycling center to see what materials they take.  Take the next step and write your Department of Public Services and ask them to do curbside recycling, if they do not already.
