steps to reserve the tickets.

1)go to www.irctc.co.in

2) register (its free)

3) go to plan my travel-> enter from and to fo travel, date, class typre and other required field.find the trains,check for availability then, book tickets, if you have a credit card or a debit card is enough.

then, i-tickets, they are physical tickets come home but to cancel you need to go to the reservation counters, for e-ticket the printout and you can cancel online itself.

that's it, great and easy. you can book from 8 am to 11.30pm sometimes 5am to 11.30pm.great isn't it.
