  1. Etsy is a good place but not the only one.   Etsy charges a very inexpensive listing fee, I think it's .25 for 4 months.  and a final sale fee of 3.25%.

There is also Designs to Love (.com site) - they have added a shopping cart to their site too.  I do not know the fees if any that are involved.

There's ton of them. email me if you want a list of site.

Most important to consider though, is that no matter where you sell your items, you have to promote them.  This includes host sites like Etsy, Ebay or anywhere. I decided to have my own website where I don't pay final fee percentages or listing fees.  I come out paying less by paying a host for my own website.  And its the same amount of work doing the promotion of it!

  2. You might check out the Handmaidens (http://www.thehandmademarket.com/) They hold a Hand Made Market twice a year in the Raleigh area. There are also local consignment-type shops. There's one in Chapel Hill where I believe you can rent/lease by the shelf: you bring your items in to the store and they do the work of selling it.

  3. i say you should make your own website and sell them there!

    hih

  4. Im sorry but Esty sucks, there are other sites too, that I ahv tried at www.powersellersunit.com, & they too suck, I have had no success at all with them, the ONLY 1 Ive been able to sale my crafts on is ebay.

I have had my stuff listed on etsy for almost 6 moths & have had NO luck at all. There a waste of $$ to use!

  5. I'd say craft fairs are a good way to go.  There are some casual ones at local schools and churches that you could even take your baby with you!
