How can she post her story?

My friend is a really good author and has written a small novel. Is there any websites like fanfiction.net that let unpublished authors post their books for people to read and comment them without them being based on another book or movie?

    www.writerscafe.org  - Another website.

    www.booksie.com - I haven't exactly looked through this site yet.
