How can some foreigner become a Saudi citizen?

Some people say that it's impossible for a foreigner to become a Saudi citizen. But some days my Egyptian teacher said that it's possible. You have to earn some points. What are these points and how to earn them can anyone tell me?

yes, there is a kind of system and points to collect.. for example, if you have PHD degree, you spent the last 5 years in Saudi and you speak arabic, you will be elligable.
