  1. It's not necessarily the power that would make them illegal but rather the emissions and the noise level...Have you heard one of these things?

Ducati makes the closest thing to a production motogp bike if you are willing to drop $80,000...the Desmo RR

A real motogp bike would cost upwards of a million dollars

  2. As far as I know, only team members and mechanics are allowed to 'get' their hands on this awesome motorcycle.  The secrecy of the technology in their machines gives them the edge over the other manufacturers especially if their bikes are performing well in the competition.  Normally, if the bike is to be upgraded (or replaced) for the next race season, this MotoGP teams allows mostly media people from actually testing their bike in a track.  Other than that, there is no possible way to drive on yourself.

On the question of legality to drive the same on the road, if your home country is pretty stringent on road laws, then most likely you would not be allowed to drive it legally in the street because of the awesome power the machine has.

By the way, the team of Kenny Roberts in the MotoGP are actually planning to build a road-legal motoGP type of bike and they are going to offer that soon.  If you're interested, you might as well check and dig deeper on this news.

  3. you have a spare 250000 dollars laying around show me the cash i will show you the bike
