  1. Hi,

Credit cards for bad credit or poor credit should accept her. OR secured credit cards...

  2. If she can show steady employment and residence for 6 months she should have no trouble getting a credit card for a store or gasoline (Mobile, Shell etc).  Once she has one or more of those and use it for a few months she can apply for a bank card like Visa, MasterCard etc.

Looking for a credit card that is not over the top with interest suggests she do not intent to pay her balance each month.  I strongly suggest she gets on a budget and saves for her purchases before buying anything with a credit card.  People who use credit cards typically spend up to 40% more for an item than if they pay with cash or a check.  Knowing how much she has to spend for an item before shopping will help her keep her spending within her income.

And pay the entire credit card balance each month.  This will keep her out of debt and save interest payments.  Credit will benefit her only when it is used within the bounds of her income.

    Good luck and God bless!

  3. you should start with a credit card. You don't have to worry about interest if you pay it off fully every month. I wouldn't suggest spending more than you can pay off in full. That'll hurt your credit and you might end up in a debt mess. You can start by applying for a card you find at the site below. It is very resourceful and its a great place to find the best card for you. Make sure to apply for cards that you meet credit requirements for. Good luck!

  4. I would suggest trying out a secured credit card. With this, you go to the bank and open up a savings account and put, say, $500 in the account. Then the bank will issue you a credit card with a $500 credit limit. This way, the bank will be willing to give you the card because they know that they can get their money if you don't pay the bill. Then, once you have used the card responsibly for 6 months or more, you will probably be able to apply for and receive a regular credit card. Good luck!
