How can some ppl tell twins apart and not others?

All my life I have had an easy time telling identical twins apart. They never look exactly the same to me. I can always spot the differences and they will only have to tell me their names once and I never forget which one is which. There are identical twin girls that just started going to my church and last week I asked them if they are identical. One of my friends was like, "Duh, of course they are! They look exactly the same." Yet I can tell them apart. I was just wondering how common is this(being able to differentiate 100% of the time). Is it a gift or something?

It has come in hand though because now I babysit for a couple families with twin babies and the mom's love it cuz I never get the pacifiers and bottles mixed up or the babies for that matter!

It just means that you notice and memorize little details better than others.

My mother would customarily run through the names of my brothers and my father before she could call my name. When she called me by her second husband's name [my father died] I was offended.

What seems natural and easy to you is really a talent. You're born with it; it can't be taught.

I have always been really good at telling identical twins apart. My boyfriend is an identical twin and hardly anybody can tell them apart. Ive never mistaken them except once over the phone when my guys brother tried to trick me. They always try and fool me but it never works LOL.

As a dog breeder, I have to be able to tell the difference in all my pups.  They are all given birth names, weights and times.  There might be very slight differences in them, but they are different all the same.  

You have an eye for seeing the differences in things.  That's good.  When you go looking for a job, find a quality control job.  That's right up your alley, and they pay well.  I had one, too before I became a breeder.

xD normally, the personality is diff rent, They have the diff rent styles of clothes.. There voice may be diffrent, It could be even a gift! xD
