  1. It all depends to whom this money comes & how he wants to utilize it. It also depends on what instructions were made by the deceased while making a 'Will' or transfer of money before the death to someone. If the wish of the deceased was to utilize his or her money according to certain manner he or she wanted then it should be done likewise by the person holding the money of the deceased. If there is no such wish or instruction left by the deceased then the person getting the money can utilize the money for some good charitable purpose if not fully then at least partially. Another way is to make a charitable or/& educational trust out of the money of the deceased & the holder of the money can thus be doing both social as well charitable works in the name of the deceased. One can think of many such ways that can be considered as nice manner to utilize the money of the deceased.

  2. If it's your money, and you die, it doesn't matter, it's no longer of use to you....

If it's someone else's money, and left to you, it should be considered a gift, and you should not fritter it away, but use it where it will do the most good....

  3. If he/she died withour legal heirs donet the money to orphans trust or in development of poor studant who really require money for his/her education.

  4. After a person is dead, his money goes to whoever he has bequeathed it to, or to his heirs as per the relevant succession act, if he died intestate.  It does not belong anymore to the dead person.  The person to whom the money devolves to can utilise it as he or she thinks fit; there is no obligation to spend it on a so called 'noble' or 'charitable' cause.  Nothing wrong in spending it as the person thinks fit, which could also be to just have fun or to splurge.

  5. simple, goes to whomever is legally entitled to it or the state and they dead not theirs any more.
