How can someone access in my behalf for everything.?

How can I give some one the whole authority to access every thing in by behalf cz I am planning to go to Australia for two month. Do I have to write a letter or fill out a form? If I have to write a letter I don’t know what to say or how to write it. Please help

  1. I think it is called a General Power of Attorney.  All you need to do in Ohio (where I am) is have it typed up and then you and the other person sign it in front of a Notary Public and another person to witness.

    Please, be VERY careful who you give this to - be sure it is someone you trust with your life because they can really mess up everything for you really bad - as in so bad you may not be able to fix what they mess up - your credit history, your bank balance, savings.  

    If you know when you will be coming back, have it in effect for only certain dates - starting this date and ending that date.

    (Take it from someone who had a best friend who got royally shafted by his girlfriend when he gave her his PoA.)
